Huge new article on Foodlink's settlement of 9 labor violation charges alleged to have taken place during an unsuccessful unionization push. The settlement and some background have been well-publicized, but new reporting here raises many questions. 🧵

We're shocked and angered by the abusive, anti-union practices of Foodlink leadership. How can an organization allegedly dedicated to building healthier communities foster such a toxic, harmful environment? The leadership of Foodlink must be held accountable.
Call to action! If you can donate to Foodlink today, please dedicate your donation to ‘Foodlink United’! Every person donating & dollar contributed shows the strength of our community support! Donation link here:

“We believe that having a union in the workplace, that gives people a real voice, a legally protected process to discuss the terms of our employment will make it easier for us to stick around.”
UNIONIZED: Foodlink employees are teaming up to get some representation, and they want the organization to back them by the end of the week.
