Way back in 2016, we embarked on a tree planting expedition, working with children in communities and schools as way of tackling Climate Change. Fast forward to 2020,the trees are doing pretty well in Buwolero Village, Jinja. All we need is action backed with monitoring.
Young people's ingenuity, drive and ultimate enthusiasm can be agame changer in Climate Resilience. On one of our monitoring stints, these young turks had devised a way of protecting thier newly planted vegetables from sunlight. The stems are removed and watering ensues.
We envision a world with:
🍑food for everyone
🌟thriving communities
🤝equal opportunities for everyone
👩🌾resilient farmers
And we can achieve it if we work in cooperation and solidarity, leaving no one behind.
