@verylargeheart @stone1_matthew If you are including any years that these sides failed to win then you should also include Brisbane 04 Hawthorn 12 and Richmond in 18vsnd Brisbane again in 23 in the conversation as Geelong were very good for 5 years and these teams went 4 years with sustained success.

[Brad Fooks @FooksBrad]

@FootyIsMyJam @CaptianBrayshaw Don't ask any St Kilda supporters as they lost 09/10 in cruel circumstances but ultimately weren't good enough against what were fair sides in Geelong and Collingwood. Making the GF validated us as a very good side but alas not to be

[Brad Fooks @FooksBrad]

@TheBackPocketAU It might take luck to a degree but you have to be special and be able to execute at the right time as well as make the opposition nervous enough play their part in creating the opportunities to do what ever you need to win.

[Brad Fooks @FooksBrad]

@AflGlicko @MrMystery_Guest You want another of those Terry Wallace vs Essendon games. Although exciting enough you don't want flooding and ultra defensive games like Syd vs WC

[Brad Fooks @FooksBrad]

@AflGlicko An Alastair Lynch vs Darryl Wakelin

[Brad Fooks @FooksBrad]

@TMT17 @PoppyPenny1 Either or

[Brad Fooks @FooksBrad]

@AussieBenC @DosPunting Its benefit of the doubt for 3 & 1/2 qtrs and not even an issue as there's never going to be any intent against him in those circumstances but in the last minute and with a very convincing appeal by Andrews, mind you, the umpires was convinced (pressured) into penalizing Lewis

[Brad Fooks @FooksBrad]

@BradKlibansky @BMac_Oz Chris Grant in 97 also got rubbed out would've tied Harvey

[Brad Fooks @FooksBrad]

Can someone at pointsbet realise that Bailey Smith now pjays for Geelong and use their emblem next to his name
@pointsbetcomau

[Brad Fooks @FooksBrad]

@Boundsy1 @hasumpstuffedup No he tried to only dispose of it once he knew it would be htb so he never wanted to just kick it blindly and potentially give away a goal

[Brad Fooks @FooksBrad]

@tim_michell And yet the umpires can't stop Brisbane there after. If only the umpiring was fair who knows what the margin would be

[Brad Fooks @FooksBrad]

@MattSmith_567 Not in the 3rd qtr they gave been the instigators of a few goals

[Brad Fooks @FooksBrad]

@Markm106 Haven't done much yet so watch for that.

[Brad Fooks @FooksBrad]

@elliotspencer43 @donsU308 @FionaAmudala List of teams since 1999 to miss grand final after minor premiership

1999 Essendon
2002 PA
'03 PA
'05 Adel
'15 Fremantle
'18 Richmond
'19: Geelong
'20: PA
'25: Adel
1/3 of the time since 1999.
It never happened between 1983 NM and 1999 for reference

[Brad Fooks @FooksBrad]

@AflGlicko Gryzn Myers was huge in the 3rd qtr

[Brad Fooks @FooksBrad]

@DogsBreakfastFC I'm not sure they're doing way with opening round as we know it they are not doing it next year because they want to give clear air to the 150th anniversary test match at the MCG and decided to start a week later in the traditional sense

[Brad Fooks @FooksBrad]

@Candour100 @KozzyOwns No Melbourne fan roster on or not would pay what Carlton fans did rather watch it at home. Plus we would gave to buy dinner on top of that AFL can give us a spell. Plus the tickets went quickly to whoever got in first Carlton or otherwise

[Brad Fooks @FooksBrad]

@Candour100 @rob29bennett @AFL_House I told you tickets were scarce last week and as us Melbourne fans who usually get decent seats to H&A games we weren't paying to sit in row whatever. No one ever sits there for our games.

[Brad Fooks @FooksBrad]

@Candour100 @crawf68 @AFL_House I heard last week as well that a lot of people were trying to get on especially not competing teams and guest passes were taken up swiftly

[Brad Fooks @FooksBrad]

@dazbroncos @AflGlicko They go after Geelong people because we all know there the best available so why would anyone go for someone from another club if they're not as good
