Thank you. I spent over 3 years in Iraq from 03 through 09 and saw my commanders transition from warriors to sheep in that time frame.

In 06-07 I was in hadithah. Not a very pleasant place. We were in constant TICs, daily IEDs, vehicles blown to hell every day. Tough battlefield decisions were made by junior Marines, daily.

Like you, I'd have razed the earth to save my friends.
