Elite Foot Soldiers of Uganda:
United in truth, driven by justice, and committed to a Uganda where power serves the people. We stand together for freedom.
Our comrade Nazziwa Agatha, aka Blue Tick, was abducted by armed men in military uniform on 9th April as she went to attend the vigil of comrade Waiswa's wife, Edith Katende. Since then, she's been missing - under incommunicado detention. Only yesterday, the military filed this Return to the Habeas Corpus order issued by the High Court, denying holding her in any of their facilities. In the evening, they released her from the DIS (CMI) Headquarters - Mbuya. As always, they ordered her not to ever again associate with @NUP_Ug, else she'd face dire consequences. She says she was held at various detention places and subjected to incredible torture. As we welcome her from this painful ordeal, we condemn the continuing lawlessness and impunity. Grateful to all comrades and the legal team for working hard to push for her freedom.

Turkey should not extradite Ugandan activist Fred Lumbuye where there are credible fears for his safety and public threats against him by senior military figures. The @UNHumanRights system should urge Turkish authorities to uphold international standards & guarantee protection.
Dear President Donald Trump,
@realDonaldTrump
We, the young people of Uganda and Africa, respectfully appeal to you during your remaining time in office. Our continent is suffering under leaders who no longer respect democracy, human rights, or the rule of law. Many of us feel abandoned under the weight of these long‑standing dictatorships.
In Uganda, we know very well that leaders like President Museveni have often aligned themselves with American interests. But after serving those interests, they continue to oppress us — silencing voices, imprisoning activists, forcing many into exile, and causing deep suffering in our communities.
We ask that you no longer turn a blind eye to these injustices. Our dream is simple: to rebuild our countries, restore our freedoms, and create a future where democracy truly works for the people. Uganda cannot achieve this while President Museveni remains in power after more than 40 years of authoritarian rule.
Many Ugandans believe that the recent election results did not reflect the will of the people. According to reports circulating , including those attributed to the CIA, the official outcome has been widely questioned. From our perspective, Ugandans overwhelmingly voted H.E. Bobi Wine.
We want the world to know that our call for change is peaceful, patriotic, and rooted in our desire to make our country great again — free from dictatorship and full of opportunity for the next generation.

During a meeting this Wednesday in Gulu, between the European Union Delegation and Gen. Salim Saleh (Dictator Museveni’s brother), the German Ambassador to Uganda H. E. Matthias Schauer and other ambassadors expressed deep concern about the inflammatory social media posts made by Museveni’s brutal son - often followed by actions. This followed the threats Museveni’s son issued against EU Ambassadors when they visited our Headquarters recently to discuss, among others, the deteriorating human rights situation in Uganda.
Just hours after the Gulu meeting, the regime has retaliated, now ridiculously accusing Ambassador Schauer of sponsoring unidentified rebel groups to overthrow it! What more? They have stated that most of those so-called rebels are supporters of @NUP_Ug!
This is an all-too-familiar script by the regime: manufacturing 'threats' to shield itself from accountability and justify its relentless violent persecution of whoever demands an end to its dictatorship and corruption. It is the same script the regime uses to rationalize the abduction, torture, and disappearance of our comrades by falsely accusing them of being criminals in an attempt to silence and intimidate us.
We hope that the world can recognize these tactics for what they truly are and continue holding the regime accountable for its transgressions against the people of Uganda and humanity as a whole!
The well-meaning people of Uganda will not be cowed into silence, but will continue pursuing all lawful means to put an end to the regime of blood and shame.

@USEmbassyUganda Please give us the tools, we wanna liberate our beloved Country Uganda 🇺🇬.
Twagala kujjako Museveni. He has nothing left to offer to Ugandans
During presidential campaign despot Museveni forced schools to offer him students of the nation as he manipulates figures for fake public appearance, he went ahead switched off internet, murdered opponents, abducted hundreds, rigged election under military protection, he sworn in illegally and now he is rapidly signing laws which are putting Uganda under a dynasty by default.
Despot Museveni better be wise and show the nation election results and address the issue of transition of power with immediate effect without your gangster side of violence otherwise you’re likely to face your fate.
We want to assure that you will be overthrown by us UGANDANS soon regardless of how much you’re offering to everyone😡
