Slovenia were a step too far as #TeamIreland fell to a 2-0 semi final exit in a game that had its fair share of controversy & a disappointing end... still a top 4 finish with a small squad was a brilliant effort! @hsscu @Medacs_Health

Our 7th/8th playoff game with Portugal has just finished... the close game went to penalties where we won out 5-4... our penalty hero’s were, @joehenno @morrisroe_brian @AherneMike95 Joe Lawlor and Cathal O’Leary #eurospital2018 #teamireland

Update... the second group games didn’t go to plan for the lads.. 3 games saw three close defeats.. Slovenia (eventual tournament winners) 2-1, Czech Republic 3-2 and Croatia 2-1. #Eurospital2018 #teamireland
