Why are you guys so pressed that Barca take Rashford? If he’s so good like you lot claim, then why don’t you keep him? Yes, he had a good loan but there times where he wasn’t playing right and Hansi clearly wanted different profiles. If you don’t want Balde that is fine, but it shouldn’t be because Barca didn’t take Rashford, we shouldn’t take Balde.

Exactly! I have read many opinions alluding to the fact that it was because of his performance but he had that attitude right from the start of the game. I do agree with you that club comes first. Inasmuch as it will hurt him if Balde were to leave, Flick also has a job to do. But anyways Flick said he didn’t ask Balde to leave so we will see.

@EssexHotspur Forest will definitely not sell. Especially this late in the window. However, I don’t think Spurs needs him. The defense and midfield needs to be sorted out. The way Brentford found spaces so easily during Saturday’s game is concerning.

Most of the too European Leagues are underway and there a few eye catching scorelines.

- Manchester were absolutely dreadful against Hall. They looked clueless and unprepared for the energy Hull brought. Carrick has a job on his hands.

- Liverpool took a late point at Newcastle but I’m sure most Liverpool fans will happily take a point from St: James at this time of the season than during the business end of the season.

- Spurs were battered at Brentford on Saturday evening. Brentford were a delight to watch in that game. Spurs must improve and do it very quickly.

- Amorim’s Milan won at Torino. He set them up in a 3-4-2-1 formation. Keep an eye on that one.

- PSG was held at Stade Rennaise. Needed 2 goals from Ferran to take a point. The second goal was a smart header by Ferran.

- Mourinho’s Madrid struggled to beat Espanyol, needing a late goal from Espi. Still believe that was Madrid’s best signing of the season and only time will prove me right.

- And Of course Raphinha and his army stormed Elche with a 5-nil win. Bad news for Barca fans as Gavi picked up another injury. Pedri reminded us as to why is one of the best midfielders in the world.

- Julian Alvarez came on for Atletico amidst boos from the Metropolitano.

A great start to the season by @FCBarcelona. Debut goal for Adeyemi, 2 assists from Gordon and a masterclass from Raphinha. Christensen had a great game in defense. Xavi Espart equipped himself well at LB as well.

The main talking point will be Lamine Yamal and his attitude throughout the game.

Barca off to winning ways. Picking up from where they left off last season.
