LFC could be owned by one of the top 3 richest fellas on the planet within a year or so. I’d love to know if City or even Newcastle fans think that Bezos should be able to invest whatever he likes in the LFC team or not. Or do they think regulatory restraint might just be a good thing for the competitions.
If allowed, the ‘Red cartel’ could do financial doping superbly well. Maybe even better than the ‘Blue Cartel’.
@Emzyl_ City didn’t want to compete they didn’t want to be organic they wanted to completely dominate by whatever means necessary. The 114 charges is one thing don’t get me started on refs being flown out to UAE and paid to ref games over there
@colingeorgerice It’s so uncompetitive let the team who just happens to be owned by a state spend whatever they want to win everything always that will sort things out and get the league properly competitive.
@AkaPaulHoward We have known they were guilty long before this verdict anyone with any form of critical thinking knew they were guilty fuck city and their appeal I hope Anfield is feral
@PeteHall86@CmPooley1972 Say everyone has the same money the big historic clubs will still draw the best players and that’s still possible even if some clubs offered more money. Got to just accept years of repeat success and global appeal built properly over years counts for something
@MattW36565526 The point of my comment was that it’s not simple I’m not sure what a fair system is. what’s the problem with massive spending if it’s earned properly? Having owners able to spend whatever they want whenever they want is arguably even more anti competitive
