@JagSays@Guinn_Cory TLDR
Waddle has always had top talent
The system has the role
The points consolidated late 2024 with Mims (it's in the O)
The points were there last year but split up between Franklin Mims
He's WR24 and top 10 isn't a stretch in the slightest
You dont pass that
@JagSays@Guinn_Cory Waddle will absolutely gut out the good of Mims and Franklin
He is more dangerous than both
The points were already there
They just got split up and obscured by the split
When that consolidates the upside is huge
@JagSays@Guinn_Cory So you saw the 2025 EOS flare of focal Mims... 25% snap share and like 17 ffppg
As Ra weapon role in a Sean O
Saw it split by Franklin Mims in 26
Saw them give big assets for Waddle
&
Said, I'll pass on Waddle who could 16-17 with a Ra Cooks deployment of the Sean Payton O
Up 7
At home
Grind of a game
With your backup QB
As your defense thrives
Teams hate points season alive and well
You cant tell me there's math
Without faulty logic
That says go for it there
As expected
#Bonitto has murdered Campbell with edge speed. Both 3rd downs, he raced him badly
Campbell will have to solve this going forward, or hes not going to stick at LT. Today, he's a liability.
I get what Sean Payton is doing but his affinity for the Franklin & LJH roles holds back #Mims
When he leaves Denver, someones going to steal a heck of a WR
Mims is the new wasted talent
Jeudy was the old wasted talent
Mims getting forced into action by injuries was a blessing
The biggest factor going into NE DEN is JMacs ability to scheme WRs open vs Denvers CB advantage
Maye is going to get hit
Maye is going to hit back
His composure has been unshakable
&
Vance is not overly confusing
JMac gotta scheme it
Maye gotta take it
If NE stays low scoring, their tendency for mistakes
(Maye not feeling edge pressure, Stevenson fumble history... etc)
Leaves them very vulnerable to a backup processing enough to win
Ive been pointing at Leonard for years. He has a very interesting history of schemes & I feel he'll blossom into a top DC in due time
He's my defensive Kellen Moore
I had MLF Hafley as coach combo 1 in the division. Gannon makes it debatable 3rd
Allen & Flores aren't Hafley
GBs hiring of Gannon is a step backwards
His defense never gelled in AZ & that was the main reason he deserved to get fired. It was never that good in Philly despite high caliber talent
I'd prefer taking a shot on Parker or Leonard. I prefer Eberflus as an easy transition.
#Steelers hire McCarthy
You're still here?
Its over
Go home
Listen, this "once was" faded out of NFL relevance. His scheme is a broken record & his ego prevents adaptation
I'll call coaches bad often
He qualifies as that
But also
I truly DISLIKE McCarthy as a PERSON
Why?
Sean is a processor O
Stidham has the scheme experience & veteran ability to play quick
It will not be as dramatic as Nix
But
There are a number of complex defenses that look very beatable if the offense takes safe quick options
We will see if NE is one of those
I can't tell you that #Stidham is up for this challenge. NEs D is a problem & even Buffalos version of the scheme had to rely on the run game
What I can tell you is that Stidham has been in this O for 3 years. He ran it in 2023, he was decisive & clean. It functioned well
There are more pressing factors
For the 3rd straight week, NE plays against a great defense. They haven't scored well on offense. Edge speed has given them fits. Their WRs are mediocre & Denvers CBs have an advantage
If that plays out like the last 2
Denver will be in this
