@joshjy I'd have done the same but fell victim to the FOMO of not using the 1000£ I got in tourney credit so still have a 1600£ portfolio
Should have just called it a day and withdrawn my profits.
Many others got hit way harder and that's just disgusting
@joshjy Same feeling here mate.
Been feeling like this could happen any day since around february/march last year
Auctions were just one more way to get income into a failing company before it goes bust
whats absolutely commical is that the owners tried to pride themselves on “transparency” 😂😂 in the end there was absolutely nothing transparent about #footstock the model was a flawed , the P2P market a shambles , the owners frauds
Stop acting like #FI collapsing has anything to do with #footstock collapsing.
My portfolio didn't even drop 10% after that FI fiasco.
The companies are not connected in any way
The models however are very similar...
Only one of so many ways Footstock deceived it's customers
Can we talk about how forcing you to use a seperate currency, that can't be converted back to pounds, to play tournaments is incredibly shady too.
Footstock promising a £100k guaranteed Freeroll (they clearly didn’t have) that resulted in a surge of new people joining the platform is arguably just as dishonest as FI 🤢
@Cal_Lewis_7 probably worse tbh mate at least we knew fi was in trouble for a while
FS have known the model wasn’t sustainable for a long time and they’ve been running out of money fast
they were purley relying on seedrs investment to keep the lights on which is absolutely mental
Every time I've called out Footstock for being garbage the fanboys came and basically told me to fuck off and kill myself.
Hope yall are having a nice Day now :)
I myself deposited 1300 pounds total. My collection value was 5-6k at one point but I didn't start withdrawing until it was a little over 2k because of the pushers I spoke of influencing me. So even though I've always said it's unsustainable and keep doing so here...
