Marcus Rashford the spark ⚡️ is coming back
Marcus is back on the pitch and back to work
He’s working hard and I think he’s fully back to the squad
That’s the mentality we need
🚨🎙️ Thierry Henry ranks Kobbie Mainoo, Pedri and Jude Bellingham:
🗣️ Presenter: “What’s your top three midfielders in the world right now?”
🗣️ Henry: “If you ask me for my top three midfielders right now, Kobbie Mainoo is in that conversation.
And yes, I would even pick him ahead of Pedri at this moment.
I know people will look at me and say, ‘Thierry, you’re putting Mainoo ahead of Pedri?’
Yes. Right now, I would.
And I have huge respect for Pedri. He’s an incredible midfielder. His ability to control the tempo, find spaces between the lines and dictate a game with his passing is exceptional.
But Mainoo gives me something slightly different.
He’s extremely calm under pressure, he can receive the ball with opponents around him, turn away from pressure and carry the ball through midfield. He also gives you more physicality and defensive presence.
That’s what gives him a slight edge for me right now.
But Jude Bellingham is different.
I would still take Bellingham over Mainoo.
Why? Because Jude gives you almost everything.
He can play deep, carry the ball, press, defend, create, arrive in the box and score. He has the physical power to dominate midfield battles, but he also has the technical quality to decide games in the final third.
Mainoo is becoming a fantastic midfielder, but Bellingham is already more complete.
So if you ask me today, I’m taking Bellingham first, Mainoo second and Pedri third.
And the scary thing is that Mainoo is only 21.
If he continues developing like this, that conversation could look very different in two or three years.” 🔥
I still remember that 2-2 draw at the Stadium of Light last season against Sunderland. That late equalizer was painful. Absolutely painful. We had that game, and somehow, Sunderland found a way to drag themselves back into it.
Now we are going back there. Same stadium, same crowd, different Arsenal.
I want revenge this time around. I need us to pipe them. 😭🔴⚪️
Tether already owns a chunk of Juventus.
Then it tried to buy the club outright.
The Agnelli family said no.
That’s the next stage of this story.
Crypto isn’t only paying for shirts anymore.
It’s trying to sit in the boardroom.
🚨🎙️ Xabi Alonso on Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers pairing in attack:
🗣️ “It’s a gift in football when you have players you don’t even need to tell them what to do. I just tell them, ‘Go and have fun with the pressure, and they will. I believe some players just need the freedom to do what they feel will work, and it works like magic.”
🗣️ “You can coach structure, positioning and movement, but you cannot always coach chemistry. When two players understand each other naturally, sometimes the best thing a manager can do is simply admire.”
🎙️ Reporter: “What if one of them gets injured? How would the chemistry work then?”
🗣️ “I don’t even want to imagine that for my players. Especially when a duo or trio has chemistry that works on the pitch, psychologically, it can definitely affect the other player.”
🗣️ “That is why, if they really work well together, they should keep building that understanding even in personal training. The more time they spend working together, the more natural everything becomes.”
🗣️ “I always encourage this kind of brotherhood in a team. It creates an understanding between players that opponents find very difficult to figure out and even harder to stop.”
