People who questions why Barca signs Gordon while they have Rashford?

The answer is simple; while Rashford has been fantastic for us, he is not Hansi Flick's type of player. He doesnt work hard enough without the ball. And it was very clearly evident this season.
Hansi probably knew it before they signed him on loan since the club's hands were tight financially, Hansi had to sacrifice.

Rashford is a prima Donna. He is like Bellingham and Trent. The English media have hyped them so much that they think they are the center of universe.
A player like him doesnt work in Hansi's Barca.

While Gordon probably doesn't have as much quality as Rashford but he makes it up by working hard.

And Rashford earns astronomical wages which doesn't help either.

From Lewndowski's experience, I don't think we need another young and promising Centerback as a main priority for the next season.

We need somebody experienced in the back to nurture our young cnterbacks like Cubarsi, G.Martin, Cortes, Balde etc.
Just like Lewndowski did with Yamal, Raphinha and Ferran Torres, Fermin etc.

I see nobody better equipped to do that than Virgil Van Dijk.
He was not been in form for Liverpool this season but nobody have been.

But I believe he has 2-3 good years in a league with lower intensity like La Liga. I don't think acquiring him will be too difficult as Liverpool will be going through a transformation in the summer.
