There is nothing wrong with her demands. Infact, I don't know how a 750K horror film ends up shooting 20 days and had people working for free, or pushing 16+ hr days. There is a lot of things not being said about that movie. A lot of mistakes and amateur mistakes.
I feel like it's purposeful at this point that the only yuri that gets anime adaptations are the ones by creepy male authors or portraying lesbians as predators/fetishing them. surely the people making these decisions aren't stupid and see which yuri is talked about most
@themangahouse@happywithdrawal@fumitokihime This post provides no evidence, so I donβt think it is credible. I searched for her account, but I couldnβt find anything suggesting that she denies the issue of the comfort women.
Itβs funny how βObsessionβ sparked conversations around women being taken advantage of, and now a woman who worked on the movie is being told to shut up for feeling exploited by the studio system profiting off of work she did (because itβs industry standard to exploit).
I'm not ready for the murcielago discourse because 1. There's no way this adaptation won't be hot ass because corporations hate action yuri and even if they didn't we as a society lost the sauce needed to adapt this 10 years ago
2. Literally all the allegations about its story are true and since it has unintentionally snuffed hdwr the himejoshis are going to rake it over the coals and all I can do is watch
