Martin Heydon, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, will open the CAP Network Ireland National Conference and officially launch Bioeconomy Ireland Week 2025, a collaboration between his own department and the Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment
Commenting recently on the Bioeconomy, Minister Heydon stated, “It has the potential to offer new and exciting opportunities for our agriculture, food, forest and marine systems, as well as for strengthening our food security and reducing our reliance on critical dependencies. To unlock these opportunities, there is a need to scale up bioeconomy processes and technologies, to accelerate the commercialisation of bio-based products and solutions, and to create new value chains in which farmers and the agri-food industry can play a leading role."

Ivy is a magic plant. For some reason people get an urge to tear it down and clear it. But here’s why we should leave Ivy where it is.
This small patch of Ivy was humming with life.
🌱 Restoration starts with the right seed.
