@valor_phoenix A high level mage might lose to Shirou, but a component magus would win, because they wouldn't fight him fairly. They would do something like take Taiga hostage and tell him that he has to sacrifice himself or else she dies. They wouldn't even get near Shirou.

@hugm4l Haven't gotten very far into the lostbelts, but in regards to why Gilgamesh was wrong when the proteagonist isn't; he didn't need to commit genocide to save himself or civilization. Ritsuka does, and the other Lostbelts need to destroy each other too.
