Another thing I want to point out is that if the Player is TOO much of a force, you pretty much spit in the face of the entire twist of Frisk. The Frisk twist is meant to tell you that it always was them the entire time, not you. But a Player being too much of a force-

-there's an overlap between Frisk's own motivations and your own motivations for doing this or that. So when, let's say, Sans calls Frisk out for killing a monster just to see what he says about it, the player feels like it's personally directed towards them.

You FEEL like you did it, you FEEL personally responsible for the choices you made, and Undertale does a great job at that. Toby made Frisk's character subtle so you can fit into their shoes, feel called out when they're called out as 80% of the time-
