One of the initiatives that I was a part of was the Well-Being Flag. Seeking student voices into Equality, Diversity and leadership, a contest was held to create a theme for their voice. I’m proud to say Maddy from GSS was the winner.
On Tuesday, more than 1,200 student athletes from 89 DSBN schools came together at Eastdale Secondary School for the 21st annual DSBN Special Olympics!
Throughout the day, students showcased teamwork, determination, and school spirit as they participated in events.

As part of our commitment to student safety, all DSBN schools will be participating in scheduled lockdown drills between May 4 - 8.
These drills help students and staff practice how to respond calmly and effectively in the event of an emergency and, just like fire drills. #dsbn
This free event is a great opportunity for secondary students and their families to ask questions, connect with post‑secondary representatives, and start planning before key Grade 12 decisions.
