He takes the remaining one step, plucks the cigarette out of Taehyung's mouth before flicking it away.
Taehyung stands there, his eyes showing his confusion when Jungkook cups his face and pulls him in.
“You,” Jungkook whispers against his lips, “just you.”
He kisses Taehyung.
Jungkook closes his eyes, his hands gripping the edge of the kitchen counter while he tilts his head upwards.
He feels a gush of cold wind and opens his eyes to see Taehyung pulling back. Taehyung's eyes hold accusations, hurt, sadness. He shakes his head. Turning away.
Jungkook licks his lower lip, nervously looking at Taehyung's lips and back up at his eyes.
Taehyung's lips part, his eyes flickering onto Jungkook's lips, lingering there.
Jungkook holds his breath, his heart racing in his chest. Taehyung takes a step forward.
“Love can come in many forms, Koo,” she cups his face, “the one that consumes you, your mind, your heart, fully is the only one you need to fight for. You think. Who is that person for you. Be honest with yourself.”
She leaves. The door closing softly behind her.
“I will call hyung,” Taehyung tries to be chatty, “god, Hobi hyung must have fallen asleep. Oh, he will kill me-”
“I will get the car,” Jungkook murmurs.
Taehyung stutters, pausing. He looks over at Jungkook. Jungkook is looking at him. They both feel it, then.
It's a goodbye.
Namjoon pulls him on the bed. He lies on his back with Jungkook held to his chest. Jungkook traces lines on Namjoon's chest, thinking.
“Hyung? Do you want to see the tree-house?” Jungkook wonders.
Namjoon is silent for a second, then he asks, “do you want me to?”
@sultrykookvie How did Jungkook actually feel about marrying Tae, aside from what he looks for in Tae, like what he felt marrying someone that meant for him
