You should give credit to the model for their design not the inspiration.

It just expected you to start hounding the modeler saying they are a thief. The post should have been "hey nice model it looks like my art lol"

Also they made it clear they don't want to use the model and even gave it away.

Also no I'm not animating in blender, I'm just using the video software to cut down on the file size. The weird colors and artifacting is a blender bug though lol.
