I’m watching Crystal Lake and absolutely loving it so far! But my biggest question is, why did they change the timeline to 1972? In the original Friday the 13th lore, Jason drowned in 1957, and the murders happened a year later, in 1958. Since this story takes place a year after Jason’s death, shouldn’t it be set in 1958 instead? Seems like a pretty significant continuity error, in my opinion. Curious if anyone else noticed this or knows why they made the change.
