What began as a single novel has evolved into 3 books which each offer something unique to readers while contributing funds towards the humane care of horses.
I have been talking to a former USDA employee who was avidly in support of mustang round ups and slaughter. We've been talking for months. And recently the horses gained another advocate and a heart was changed. She now actively advocates for the horses. WIN!
My daughter was sexually assaulted at apx 18 months old. She is 5 now, battling PTSD ever since
She asked me to share this "sketch", I promised I would
She says it's the guy who hurt her pee-pee
She doesn't want other kids hurt
A tiny advocate against sexual assault

@TheVeryBestBlog@NancySinatra We talk anytime she needs it. We've spent years working through fear, anxiety, guilt, sadness, anger, and so much more. That part of the battle is long from over, but she is always encouraged and allowed to talk about any and all emotions.
@tfergpdx@Heinzilla I will! She struggles with her PTSD, but speaks out and shares her story in spite of her trauma. Her goal is "so others know it's okay to share and so other kids don't get hurt." She's already helped so many others. Such a little fighter. ๐
@Englercanyon Thank you. She's a pretty amazing and brave little girl, in my opinion. It sucks that she has to be, but I love that rather than hide she feels strongly about speaking out instead.
@Bustercherry311 Not caught. Not convicted. They refused to even do a physical or take a report until years later. We suspect it was the 13 yr old son of the babysitter, and my daughter's accounts are consistent with that. He is still free, but my daughter still speaks out against assault.
@RobinsJuli@YarosisNancy I'm so sorry that happened to you. Even at 5 my little has enabled a lot of women to share for the first time, she amazes me with her strength and bravery. I try to make sure that she has a strong support system. So many didn't/don't get the support they needed as kids.
@Just4lyn1@YarosisNancy She gets everything I can give her. She even has a service dog for her PTSD. I'm just so proud of her for being brave enough to want to speak out against it for the sake of others.
Though for today:
If horses (minis) are the only animal other than dogs, approved by the govt as service animals. How can you consider them livestock? compassionate enough to care for our disabled, but not worthy of the same rights as the ONLY other species approved to do so.
Wild horses & burros need your help.
