That's why it's so important to speak to your kids about inappropriate acts & to teach them about their bodies & rights from a young age. Stop instilling fear into them by means of corporal punishment or when you scold at them.

Its possible for kids to block out sexual abuse. I did that for many years & even forgot about it until I was sexually abused again at an adult age. All the memories I suppressed started resurfacing, as in vivid images of the incidents now replayed in my mind a WHOLE 10+ yrs lata
