Anyone else get disproportionately annoyed by "sound bite" advice, i.e. statements that sound good but are untrue / impractical?

No, it doesn't. Worthwhile goal, but drop the hyperbole.

Got rid of 3 boxes that have been sitting in an unused vehicle. (I know.) Things I won't use stick around because I say I'll sell or donate them & never do. So the only destination for items was garbage bag or known "home." Full trash bag went straight to the road. #hoarding

@Jemmillion Phew. First console. Age 8ish. Commodore 64 with a crappy controller. Most responsive game was Q*bert. Used DOS to load Jeopardy on my mom's @HP (first ever computer!). Was the Jeopardy champ in our home. I credit it with influencing my love of learning & valuing intelligence.

Bonus round: Get the flattened boxes out of the house (and off the property). Search online for a cardboard recycling day. A local one sets up in a Walmart lot some weekends. You just drive through. Or we might use the burn pile. I just want them gone! #housecleaning

#Decluttering challenge? What I'm doing right now: Cardboard boxes piled up because we #hoarders aquire way too much and/or want to avoid people when we shop? Cut the tape on the bottom so you can lay them flat. The stack will take up so much less space. #hoarding #adhd #clutter

The last few spaces took longer than expected, but I've finished deeply decluttering the electronics room, walk-in closet, bathroom, and utility room(s). It feels good! With storage organized, I should be able to put things in other areas away. #cleaning

Pretty happy with the utility room. Cleaned all surfaces before putting items only on shelves I can reach easily. Moved a shelving unit into the closet so I can access my washing machine without sliding past it. Tossed three bags of garbage! #springcleaning #cleaning #declutter
