Found some stunning work. After removing the plywood panelling to expose a beautiful leaded light.

As you can see, the building was “built to last” with what appears to be heavy-duty cast-iron roof.

Sterling Services Liverpool have been appointed to repair Tyldesley Library.
Sterling Services are keen to let us document their progress but due to H&S, we need to wait a few more weeks until they will let Haydn in with his camera.

The Origin Of Ponky's Park
"Why is it called Ponky's Park?"
Peter Rothwell the last owner of the Pub was known as "Ponky" was given this nickname due to his interest in playing and making musical instruments as in the term
The Boar's Head was located in that very spot.
The Origin Of Manley House..
An indenture for the property dated 8th November 1825 reveals the house was constructed that year for William Ecksersley Manley.
Did you know Tyldesley had a Medieval building with a Moat?
New Hall moated site is a scheduled monument in Tyldesley, Greater Manchester, England.
It includes a moat and an island platform on which a modern house has been built.
