Metaplanet, one of Asia’s largest corporate Bitcoin holders, just launched “Metaplanet Ventures” , A ¥4B ($25M+) fund to invest in Bitcoin infrastructure and startups in Japan.

Feels bigger than just another funding headline.

For a long time, most institutional Bitcoin interest was about holding Bitcoin as a reserve.

Now some of that capital is starting to move toward the infrastructure being built around it.

A treasury company funding infrastructure suggests something important:

Bitcoin is increasingly being seen not only as an asset to store, but as a system that needs better rails to grow.
