Extending OCIs lowers cost to own metrics on places that influence buying decisions like Consumer Reports. There’s no way a 10k OCI is good for oils used GDI Turbo engines famous for oil dilution/fuel contamination and LSPI. High shear and increased volatility is awful for LSPI specifically. DI turbo engines are notorious for doing both to engine oil.
