Lastly, I think up to now, with the teachers I had, that used them in class, they have been successful with the incorporation of social media in classroom environments.
Social online platforms can become an output for student to express their opinions on the various subjects they learn about in school. Mainly for older students they can balance both the integration of technology in class while using class teachings outside of the class, online.
I think personal technological devices and social media platforms have added a difficulty for teachers during class time, due to students using them while the teacher is talking/teaching.
An online discussion platform like Twitter can be beneficial in real time classroom environments to permit an accessibility outside of class time for the content of a class and the participation of students.
Technological devices seem to be primordial in the future of classrooms, mainly in Western societies as its integration have been constant for a good amount of years already.
@SophieDorion28 Class discussions, activities that incorporate participation from everyone through stimulating and different subjects. Promote an in-class system that promotes motivation with different objectives and learning goals. Just a few example.
@L_Baum02 @SophieDorion28 This is such a common issue with online learning, so many people including myself are facing this. It is so easy to get distracted and to loose precious time on social media during online class.
@L_Baum02@EmilyGagliano1 I hope this does not occur, I think so many troubles would arise from this. The advantage of in-class environments are so beneficial to any type of students.
@ghemari_asma In today's time I think the best way for students to learn is to balance the integration of technological devices in classroom environments.
@ThomasLane89361@elena_kwok Yeah, as soon as I cannot grasp something, YouTube is always a good solution. I believe a lot of students in University and College use YouTube to help comprehend class material.
@ghemari_asma Although this may be the case, they can all still be used in the same way or with the same method based on the reasons you are introducing them in class.
@ghemari_asma To a certain degree, yes I would agree, but as seen with a multitude of different movements and subjects, social media platforms can help and create an environment of "we-ness" as you say. I think its a matter of what attracts you to these platforms and the way you use them.
@BP_307 @amily_educ307 Personally, as I grow older I tend to focus more on security with online measures. I think a certain maturity is developed with these matters as people spend more time on online platforms and with technological devices.
