Winter Storm Warnings were issued for parts of northern Delaware, southeastern Pennsylvania, and Camden, Gloucester, and parts of Burlington county in NJ from 10PM EST tonight to 10AM EST Tomorrow Morning

Snowfall will begin late tonight through early Saturday morning before ending around 7-10am Saturday. Anyone traveling overnight through Saturday morning should exercise extreme caution and consider delaying travel. Snowfall rates could reach 0.5 to 1.0 inch per hour at times!

It has been 1,128 days since Philly saw 6 inches of snow in a day. They did however receive 7.5 inches of snow from the January 28-29, 2022 storm, however snowfall was spread over two days (1.7 inches on the 28th and 5.8 inches on the 29th). That was 719 days ago! #PAwx

To clarify, the last 6"+ event for Philly was the January 28-29, 2022 event, where 7.5" of snow fell during the whole storm (1.7" on the 28th and 5.8" on the 29th). December 16-17, 2020, where 6.6" of snow fell for the whole storm (6.3" on the 16th and 0.3" on the 17th).
