Modeling lifelong learning - can’t wait to share my experiences with my upcoming 5th grade @FarmerDragons Thankful to @ULmCenter for the yearlong study on Tocqueville’s Democracy in America and the relationships built with educators across the state
Some of our #TeacherScholars recently travelled to New Orleans as a culminating end to our series: Tocqueville's America - and Ours. The group travelled to The Crescent City to retrace Alexis de Tocqueville's steps and share final thoughts on his work, "Democracy in America."
Thank you to @ULmCenter for investing in civic education. A weekend away discussing #Tocqueville’s Democracy in America has given me much to ponder as I work to grow greatness @FarmerDragons
A few years ago @FarmerDragons’ amazing art teacher @FarmerARTROOM did a piece of art with our students and it introduced me to #Chihuly. A seed was planted and it bloomed. Glad I was able to experience the Chihuly exhibit @mobotgarden
@FarmerDragons Remembering the victims, survivors & helpers of 9-11-01 @DBQProject This unit of study is really impacting our students.
Thank you @GlobalGameChgrs for leading us in a service project honoring the victims.
Great opening day @FarmerDragons Meet & Greet with parents and then lunch together in the cafeteria. We are growing greatness! Thank you @StiversMindy
@BeckyPringle If you will stand and fight for all, I would stand beside you. I respect, care for and nurture all of my students. Period. No label, political agenda, movement or ideology will change my belief that every individual is equal, special and worthy.
@BeckyPringle My authentic self is a Christian. Do you fight my rights or my Christian students? If I have a student hurting can I say I’ll pray for you or God loves you? You don’t fight for all, you fight for some- only those that believe the same as you.
What kind of @JCPSKY@FarmerDragons Social Studies teacher would I be if I didn’t exercise my right to vote?!
Growing good citizens today, so we have good citizens in our future 🙂
