On the same July 4 marking America’s 250th birthday, New York City’s democratic-socialist mayor Zohran Mamdani used his official remarks from City Hall to attack Elon Musk (@elonmusk) by name—and Musk didn’t let it sit for long (Fox News, JNS).

Sitting behind 𝐆𝐞𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐨𝐧’𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐤, Mamdani told the city: “𝘞𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥, 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘯 𝘨𝘰 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘭𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘳𝘺, 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥’𝘴 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦.”

He went further, calling America an “𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘢 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘤𝘺” and dismissing anyone who disagrees with him as “𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭... 𝘸𝘦𝘢𝘬... 𝘶𝘯𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭”, while also using the moment to blast ICE agents for how they “𝘪𝘯𝘷𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘯𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘥𝘴”.

Musk’s reply came fast, in full: “𝘔𝘢𝘮𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘪 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨. 𝘏𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘳, 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘳.”

Musk earned his fortune building rockets that land themselves and cars that outsell legacy automakers combined. Mamdani’s resume runs from 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧. One of them created something the world didn’t have before. The other spent Independence Day attacking the man who did.

Yes, I’m a Black man, and I love America.

Happy 250th Anniversary to the greatest country in the world.

I don’t care who gets mad about it. I don’t care who tells me I’m supposed to hate this country because of my skin color. I don’t care who thinks patriotism has a race.

You will never get me to hate America.

This country gave a foster kid like me a chance. I came from nothing, but because I was born in America, I was able to dream bigger, work harder, fight through every obstacle, build a life, and become the man I am today.

America is not perfect, but I thank God I was born here.

I love the flag. I love the freedom. I love the opportunity. I love the American Dream.

And I’m not ashamed to say it.

So while some people spend today complaining, attacking this country, and trying to shame others for loving it — I’ll be celebrating it.

We must change our laws to prevent our enemies from holding public positions of power from where they seek to destroy our nation from within.  This must be a top priority while there’s still time. But the window is closing fast.  

Many of the latest Marxists-Islamists office-holders are recent immigrants, like Mamdani. That needs to end and would be a good first step. The installation of Marxist-Islamist candidates via the Democrat Party has been an objective of Hamas front group CAIR for three decades.  Since the Democrat Party doesn’t have the will to stop this we must.
