It wasn't long ago that John Peterson (@JohnPetersonFW) hated golf.

Now 36, Peterson has found his love for the game again and returns this week to the @jonescupinv, a tournament he won in 2011 when he beat Jordan Spieth with a birdie on the first playoff hole.

This will be his first time back at Ocean Forest, and he's doing so as a reinstated amateur after not playing professionally since injuries derailed his career in 2019.
