@vurnt22 Robbie was arguing with Jim, that the piece Leyenda would translate well to electric guitar and work well for Spanish Caravan song. Jim punched Robbie, but ultimately the band voted to use a small sample of Leyenda. I personally agree with Jim, sounds bad!

Anyone member the short lived Canadian Thrash band from the 80s called DBC - Dead Brain Cells? The first album is still pretty cool I think. Kinda crossover-ish with Exploited sounding vocals. Check out the song Deadlock if interested.

@PastorWildman Much respect for building the guitar repertoire, teaching, and overall elevating the guitar as a serious art music instrument.

That said, I do not like his interpretations of Baroque and some Classical pieces. He is well fitted for Romantic period though.

If any care, I passed the test, but might still fail as I had to get up to use the restroom which is not permitted for CompTia tests. I guess they put in an incident report and CompTia will decide? I have an issue that makes me use restroom more than most, I know TMI!

OMFG. So I wanted to take the CompTia Network+ exam to freshen some of my networking knowledge and fill in some gaps (I am not a network admin). I got a voucher and kept putting it off. Now I must use by the 22nd.

Seeing talk about breakdowns in metal, my personal favorite is from Dark Angel's the Promise of Agony off of the Leave Scars album. If too impatient start listening at 06:00 the breakdown starts at 06:45.

@MadSciDorn Since this is classical guitar teacher could have gave ways in which to express emotion, e.g.:

-Change the angle of your RH fingers.
-Change where the RH is playing (closer to bridge or neck)
-Intentional slight tempo change is sometimes good.
-Playing soft or light with RH.

I like except the strange inlays on the fretboard and the headstock. Color is pretty cool though.
