Athens county is under a flood watch until February 25. Temps will begin to drop with highs in the low 40’s tomorrow. A cold front will stall out in the region bringing widespread rain over the next couple of days. Heading into the weekend temps will begin to climb into the 60’s

@JohnSulliPhoto Road closures include the whole county of Athens, City and rural roads. With the freezing rain/sleet with snow on top of roadways create very slick conditions. Snow will continue to fall into the early hours which will only deteriorate the conditions.
