One Amazon delivery driver trusted his instincts and it changed everything.
Back in November 2022, while making deliveries in Dallas, Georgia, he noticed something wasn't right. Several dogs were chained up outside, so he reported it.
When authorities investigated, they uncovered a horrifying scene: 107 malnourished pit bulls chained to trees and metal stakes with little or no food, water, or shelter.
Veterinarians found scars consistent with dogfighting, injuries from heavy chains, and even dogs with teeth that had been intentionally removed. Investigators also discovered treadmills, breeding equipment, baiting materials, and documents linking the property to a larger dogfighting operation.
The owner, Vincent Lemark Burrell, was convicted on 93 dogfighting charges and 10 animal cruelty charges. He was sentenced to 475 years in prison believed to be the longest sentence ever handed down for a dogfighting case.
All because one delivery driver decided to speak up instead of looking the other way.

DeWine has spent years prioritizing the Haitian community over the people who actually elected him.
Now that Trump is finally ending the open-ended free-for-all, the governor’s first instinct is to shield illegal and temporary status holders from the consequences of their own country’s collapse.
If Haiti is hell, stop importing it.
If the law says the status ends, enforce the law.
