Design and built her own bug house. Well with a little help from her uncle. All items were things we had in the house. Just waiting on some bugs moving in. #weekendvibes#homemade@MoorsidePA
Lovely to see our key worker children making the most of the lovely weather and spending time in the forest school. You look like you had lots of fun and your homes are amazing! #springtime#outdoorlearning @MrsBehanMPA @pep1209
In forest school we have been learning about fire safety and what three elements a fire needs to burn. We enjoyed the toasted marshmallows afterwards @MoorsidePA
Year 3’s challenge was to send the hoop all the way around without breaking the circle. They weren’t sure how to do it at first but with lots of communication, listening, trial and error and teamwork they completed the task. Well done everyone! @MoorsidePA
In forest school year 3 had to work collaboratively with their partner to complete as many challenges as they could. They had to communicate, problem solve and work together. @MoorsidePA
Year 2 had a very wet and muddy session this week but they didn’t let the weather stop them having fun. They made fairy houses and shelters for the animals that live in the area. @MoorsidePA
A huge thank you to these fab people. I’m so lucky to work with such dedicated, caring and inspirational people (shout out to those not here too) They’ve given the children an incredibly memorable week. Thank you @ForestSchoolMPA @SENDcoMPA @MrArnoldMPA @MissRoseMPA @MoorsidePA
Group 2 have had another fun packed, busy day. They have shown brilliant teamwork, problem solving, bravery, perseverance and determination to complete today’s activities: survival, high ropes, buggy building and giant swing. @MoorsidePA
After a busy morning canoeing and on the zip wire we had time for a quick lunch before heading back out for low ropes, trust exercises and climbing. Getting ready for our evening activity having just finished dinner.@MoorsidePA
It has been a busy half term with lots of outdoor learning and fun. The sessions have helped the children to grow, learn new things, build friendships, build self esteem and grow in confidence. Looking forward to doing it all again next half term. @MoorsidePA
This week year 3 had their last forest school session. They made journey sticks to show their forest school journey: what they have learnt, what they have enjoyed and how they felt. #reflecting#outdoorlearning@MoorsidePA
Year 5 reflecting on their sessions over the last six weeks. Here they are drawing a picture on their disc that represents what they have enjoyed and what they had learnt.@MoorsidePA
Today in forest school year 5 chose how they wanted to spend their last session. Some children choose to do some art work; others chose to make dens and play with friends @MoorsidePA
