Here we have another pic from pollinator.sanctuary (IG), who’s captured a photo of the sorrel plant in Oregon, 🇺🇸! It has bright lime-green leaves with dark red veins, which are best harvested when young and used raw in salads 🍃

Isn’t this beautiful? We have a sea of flowering lupines hugging a pear tree🍐In a food forest, Lupines are a useful addition as a herbaceous plant that fixes nitrogen into the soil. Their snowy spikes of flowers can be of different colors, from blue to red✨

They have an interesting pink ornamental pod which covers a spicy numbing pepper, used a lot in some Asian cuisines 🌶
