@Lord_Clinton_@manifestive I own a car and I pay that tax. Besides, the tax is not exclusively for car owners. Yes, it’s 10p per lit but they end up accumulating billions. Why do you compare the UK and Ghana? They don’t collect those taxes to loot and share, unlike Ghana. Stop such baseless comparisons!
@Lord_Clinton_@manifestive The people in those countries see a profound reflection of those taxes in their daily lives- in transportation, education, sanitation, healthcare etc. Meanwhile, here in Ghana, we pay taxes for your politicians to loot without any accountability. Wise up!
@Lord_Clinton_@manifestive It’s because of gullible people like you that propel politicians to sleep with immunity complex and wake up with impunity. Maybe a quick google search would have filled your putrid brain with some valuable information.
@_adjeibrefo Stop defending mediocrity in the name of politics. These politicians are just content creators masquerading as leaders/problem solvers. If we had a well-functioning system, the MCE won’t be in the streets pretending to be cleaning. That’s the sign of a failed state!
@lydiadonkor13 It doesn’t stop there, madam. Call on government to utilize our sanitation taxes productively: employ people with good wages to sweep our streets, collaborate with engineers to establish modernized drains, and provide adequate waste bins. It’s not rocket science!
@CharlesOheneba1@xghana_ That’s the consequence of a dysfunctional country. Citizens channeling their anger to the wrong people. Meanwhile, those politicians they pay to solve their problems appear in boot, create contents, and disappear. It’s utterly ridiculous!
@EiiScanty You know very well that the next flooding of s inevitable. Why should we wait for it to happen before you clamor for proper and sustainable initiatives? You should use your platform you call for immediate structural reforms from the government.
@inijahson1010z@_edemkojo So, what next after this cleanup exercise? Or are we to wait again for another devastating flood next year, then come out for another clean up exercise? All that we demand are well-functioning systems and institutions that provide sustainable solutions.
@faya_lorrrd Social media politics. The best way Ghanaian politicians disguise their incompetence, especially in the eyes of the gullible. Instead of building proper institutions and systems, they always result to the lazy approach to solving our problems. It’s pathetic!
