@gamingonlinux@godotengine@Akien If there was ever a position opening for someone who basically worked on his own engine for 7 years, and intimate knowledge about integrating C++ and C#, I'm always here.

The urge to throw Unity out the window and go back to using my own engine is strong today. For the sake of my own productivity I won't, but that glass ceiling is real.
If I could make enough to survive I'd jump at the chance to build an open source engine.
@gamingonlinux@godotengine I love the idea behind Godot and one day it may become my engine of choice. Unfortunately I keep finding aspects of it very odd or lacking, as to be expected with open source project. The killer for now is that their C# support isn't complete.
Super rudimentary dungeon generation. Just getting the initial scripts working before moving onto any more fancy stuff, but it's good to see a whole dungeon after so long.
@AlwaysGeeky I forget, back in the day you must have written your own voxel asset tool right? If so are you still using that or did you ever transition over to one of the now available ones?
Was unhappy with the implementation for Unity's 2D lights, so I implemented my own version. Happy seeing it all come together, it will make the 2D game look so pretty. I may end up creating a free unity asset when I'm done.
For my own education I created a project to check the performance difference between using Unity colliders vs scripted overlap tests. I made a write up with my results here.

Just participated in the 48 hour Global Gamejam. Our team narrowed down the game idea quickly and we kept the scope small, all great things! Link to the project. https://t.co/V8edawWqrb
Had to sort through some net code first, but got a rudimentary inventory and item equip system going. Sword and bow will likely change, they are just functional for now.
