@SurferRBLX Eh, even if they wanted that then the people using AI still need a really good idea to really keep it afloat. The most they can generate is slop games that lasted a week or less, none will ever get to the point of a human made game that lasted for over a decade.
Starting July 14th, Roblox will be reducing what creators earn from 2D items, from 70% to 30%. If sold in-game, the game developer will earn 40% and the creator will still earn 30%.
In addition, to upload either 2D or 3D items, you need to pay 200 Robux and be ID verified (or have a linked parent account). To upload, you will need an active Plus/Premium membership and pay a publishing advance, starting at 600 Robux. Totaling to 800 Robux, minimum, per item.
@Kone_thorix I hated how this is stressing me out, I did not want to create on this platform in fear or in hopelessness. I wish this has never happen.
Also can you take out the group funds without it being stuck on the loading? I had to get help to get my funds out.
@TapasBlox Should also clarify that this only happens to account that have region set to be in Viet Nam, I'm Vietnamese with an account region set in the U.S so this has not restricted me yet luckily. I do hope they don't take the route of region locking accounts people that came here.
I've already been stressed out enough over being unable to take out my group funds without needing help from my foreign friends, this update doesn't just messed up regular players but also creators living in Viet Nam too and it's genuinely stressful.
This is honestly concerning. I'm a Vietnamese UGC creator and I've spent enough on this platform to really leave. They has been doing alot to restrict things from creating, I've been unable to take out my group funds, unable to access studio without a VPN. (1/_)
Roblox in Vietnam just got worse...
Roblox VNG just killed the VPN bypass Vietnamese players used to escape it.
If you don't know: Roblox in Vietnam is run by a separate company, VNG, and it blocks games you'd normally open on the global app.
For weeks the fix was simple. VPN into the global app and open the blocked games anyway.
>The blocked games won't load now, VPN or not.
And it's catching people who NEVER opened the VNG app. If your account location is set to Vietnam, you're locked in.
>Global chat: removed.
>Screen time for under-18 accounts: capped.
>Popular games: wiped.
Whose fault is this, Roblox or VNG?
@qid1k They should really stop moderating textures and instead moderate the final models instead. If the ai keep using this as a "violation" reason then every textures on roblox are violating some kind of invisible rules the ai came up with.
@idelww people flaming you for speaking the truth is funny as hell. Youโre right, every memes are cringe, let the kids be cringe and be kids again instead of acting like adults and do adults thing
@Roblox So how much more money do you want to drain? This isnโt what the players wanted. Your priorities is not even on the right track, all this will do is damage your profit even further.
