Impartiality of the Speaker in the House:
Today, during the cut motion discussion on PWD as I tried to expose the corruption of the “Ki Ki Bahini” in the PWD department and the trio of contractors namely: Anupam Sharma, Anil Das and Ashok Singhi cornering most of the high budget contracts of Assam as well as the injustice done to the constituencies of the Opposition MLAs, the Deputy Speaker shocking intervened in the House to mum the issue.

I strongly condemn the incident of eviction drive at Sonapur where 2 persons were killed in police firing and many were grievously hurt during . Let's oppose such ghastly attacks sponsored by the state against the people as humans sans any regard to our religious proclivitions.

ঠিকাদাৰ শিৱ হৰলালকাই শিৱসাগৰবাসীক জলা-কলা খুৱাইছে। আজি বি জি ৰ’ডটো পৰিদৰ্শনৰ বাবে মাতিছিলো, ঠিকাদাৰ পলাল। চৰকাৰী অভিযন্তাই বিফল ঠিকাদাৰৰ পক্ষত মাত দিছিল। বহুত খং উঠিল। ক্ষমা কৰিব দেই।
২০২৪ চনৰ এপ্ৰিল মাহৰ ভিতৰত বি জি ৰ’ডটো সম্পূৰ্ণ কৰাৰ সময়সীমা আছিল। আজিৰ দিনটোলৈ সম্পূৰ্ণ কৰাটো বাদ দিয়ক, ১৪%তকৈ সামান্য বেছি সম্পূৰ্ণ কৰিছে মাত্ৰ। এই পথটো শিৱসাগৰ ষ্টেচন চাৰি আলিৰ পৰা চুমনিলৈ ১৮.৪১৬ কি: মি: পথ ১২১ কোটি টকাৰে নিৰ্মাণ কৰি থকা হৈছে।কিন্তু কামৰ অগ্ৰগতি নাই। আজি ঠিকাদাৰ হৰলালকাক বিভাগীয়ভাৱে পথটো পৰিদৰ্শনৰ বাবে নিমন্ত্ৰণ কৰা হৈছিল।কিন্তু মিছা কথা কৈ নাহিল। ইয়াৰ পূৰ্বে ছমাহৰ পূৰ্বে তেওঁৰ উপস্থিতিত পৰিদৰ্শন কৰি সময় নিৰ্দ্ধাৰণ কৰি দিছিলো।একেজন ঠিকাদাৰে জাঁজীৰ পৰা ডিমৌলৈ ৪ লেনযুক্ত ৰাষ্ট্ৰীয় ঘাইপথৰ ঠিকা লৈ আধাত কাম এৰিলে। আমাৰ ধোদৰ আলিতো অসম মালাৰ দুৰ্বল কামেৰে জনতাক হাৰাশাস্তি কৰি আছে।শিৱ হৰলালকাৰৰ কামৰ বাবে শিৱসাগৰ নগৰবাসীৰ কি দুদৰ্শা হৈছে নেদেখিলে কোনেও নুবুজিব।ৰাজনৈতিক বিচাৰেৰে কাম দিয়াৰ ফল এয়া! এজন ৰাজনীতিকৰ নামত তেওঁ সদায় গড়কাপ্তানি বিভাগৰ অভিযন্তাক ভয় খুৱায়।

Today on 5th May,2024- 20,000 people at Kharubandha High School playground of Mankachar Vidhan Sabha constituency took oath together for saving the Constitution and Democracry of the country. The people of Mankachar vowed for voting for the candidate of the United Opposition Forum in the approaching Parliamentary election.

The biggest irony and puzzle: the BJP govt in Assam which is die hard believer in communal politics has come up with a bill to prevent evil practices in Assam. I have presented my opinion on the floor of the house. The bill even could not seriously define many important issues related to with evil and traditional healing practices in Assam. Alas, the govt fails to comprehend that introducing bills without sufficient dialogue and discussion with all the stakeholders would fail to produce the intended results.
