🎁 New Operations – Operation: Shadows, which launches alongside this update, features a free 20-tier reward track inspired by the Office of Naval Intelligence, also known as ONI. Purchasers of the Premium Pass will have access to 50 tiers of paid rewards in addition to the free rewards. Looking ahead, “Warpath” launches in September and “Haloween II” launches in October.
🪽 New Vehicle: Falcon – Aside from the pilot, the Falcon includes seats for two passengers, a chaingun turret operator (righthand side), and a grenade launcher turret operator (lefthand side). The grenade launcher turret's alternate fire mode launches EMP grenades that are capable of temporarily disabling vehicles.
💥 New Weapon: Vestige Carbine – The Vestige Carbine is a semi-automatic tactical rifle with a scope that's most effective during medium range encounters. Weapon racks that are set to spawn tactical rifles now have a chance of spawning the Vestige Carbine. The Vestige Carbine has also been placed on various ranked map variants.
🚩 New Playlist: Famished Famished Falcons – The Famished Famished Falcons mode features four teams of three players racing to capture a single flag. Each team starts in a tower over a bottomless void and the flag is found on a central platform between the four teams' towers. Teams must use their Falcon to fly to the central platform and bring the flag back to their base.
🪖 New Playlist: Banished Slayer – This new limited-time 4v4 matchmaking playlist features two teams with different faction-based loadouts. The UNSC team starts with the Bandit EVO, MA5K Avenger, and frag grenades while the Banished team starts with the new Vestige Carbine, Pulse Carbine, and Spike Grenades.
➕ Weapon Bench Expansion – Ten additional weapons can now be customized via the Weapon Bench menu: Mangler, Stalker Rifle, Pulse Carbine, Cindershot, Vestige Carbine, Gravity Hammer, Sentinel Beam, Disruptor, Plasma Pistol, Ravager.
🎥 Third-Person Toggle in Firefight – Players can now press the on-screen shortcut to swap between first and third-person in the Firefight: King of the Hill game modes.
🗺️ New Forge Maps in Playlists – Three new community-made maps have been added to various matchmaking playlists in Halo Infinite: Ecotone, Lattice, and a ranked variant of Serenity.
⚔️ Sandbox Balance Changes – Four balance changes are included in this update:
• The MLRS-2 Hydra now reloads faster, locks onto targets quicker, and fires successive projectiles faster once a target is locked.
• To align with the MLRS-2 Hydra changes above, the Pursuit Hydra now reloads faster than before.
• The Ravager Rebound now overheats faster when firing successive shots.
• The duration of the Active Camo power equipment has been increased from 30 seconds to 45 seconds.
⭕ Forge: Radial Menu – Forge creators can now add a radial menu to their modes. The radial menu presents 2-8 options to players, with each option having a title, description, and an icon.
⌨️ Forge: Custom Input – Forge creators can now set a custom input function for a game mode. This custom input function can be set as a tap or hold action, and it can activate interactions such as the Radial Menu, user interface messages, or anything else that can be configured via the node graph system.
🐞 Resolved Issues – 55+ bug fixes in this update, including:
• Improved stability for Halo Infinite on both Xbox consoles and PC.
• Players with expired Xbox sign-in credentials stored on their PC are now less likely to experience a blank sign-in window. When this issue occurs, players will now be prompted to sign into their Xbox account again.
• The Applied Score modifiers for the Heroic and Legendary mode variants in the Firefight playlist have been restored.
• The Helioskrill helmet has been adjusted so it no longer sits low enough to overlap or fall into other armor pieces.
• Players can now more consistently load into Forge maps that are utilizing a large number of scripting nodes.

💥New Weapon & Playlist: Mutilator – The Mutilator is a double-barreled shotgun with an integrated Gravity Hammer for melee attacks. This Banished-made weapon features an alternate-fire mechanic that allows players to fire both barrels at once. In the Mutilator Madness playlist, 8 players battle to become the Juggernaut and wield the Mutilator.
🛡️ New Firefight Playlist: Battle of the Academy – The two linear experiences included in this rotational playlist, Cole Protocol and Out With A Bang, tell the story of the UNSC forces that defended the Avery J. Johnson Academy for Military Science after Iratus's infiltration of the secret ONI lab.
➕ Weapon Bench Expansion – Five additional weapons can now be customized via the Weapon Bench menu: MA5K Avenger, Mutilator, Needler, Heatwave, Shock Rifle.
🆕 Exchange Improvements – The Exchange menu now features a new set of browsable categories based on customization types. Additionally, items from the free reward track of the Frontlines Operation as well as items from the Mindfall Fracture Event have been added to the Exchange. Lastly, players can now purchase Spartan Points using Halo Credits.
⭐ Perfect Kill Icon in the Event Feed – Perfect kills are now denoted by a star icon in a multiplayer match's Event Feed.
⚔️ Sandbox Balance Changes – Two balance changes are included in this update:
• Shots fired from the S7 Sniper or the Flexfire Sniper now have a chance to ricochet off hard surfaces. If a ricocheted shot eliminates an enemy player, the player who fired the shot will receive the Bank Shot medal.
• The Banshee is now less durable against collisions, and the reload speed as well as the projectile speed of its fuel rod cannon has been reduced.
🛠️ Forge: New Object Scripting Nodes – The Set Object Team and Set Object Team to Neutral nodes have been updated to work with the several generic objective items. Additionally, several new nodes have been added:
• Get all objects by label with spawn order
• Get all objects by spawn order
• Get all players with spawn order
• Get Object Spawn Order
• Set Object Spawn Order
🐞Resolved Issues – 20+ bug fixes in this update, including:
• Improved stability for Halo Infinite on both Xbox consoles and PC.
• AI enemies in Firefight and Forge-made game modes can now use additional turret variants.
• Players using the Gravity Hammer will no longer have their area-of-effect damage nullified when attacking a player who melees them at the same time (also known as a "clash").
• The animation for holding the Bomb object used in Assault game modes has been improved.
• Players who join a Custom Game lobby after the game mode was edited will now see the previously made changes.

Several #HaloInfinite playlist changes were implemented via a backend update today:
• Featured rotational: The BTB playlist has been refreshed. Three new game modes have been added: Extraction, Multi-Bomb, and One Bomb. Four new maps have been added Credence, Dawnbreaker, Flood Gulch, and Threshold. More info on the Operation: https://t.co/p0nftcj2Jj
• Two changes have been made to Husky Assault based on player feedback: the arm time for the bomb has been decreased from 3 seconds to 1.5 seconds, and the return time for dropped bombs has been increased from 25 seconds to 60 seconds.
• The unranked 1v1 Showdown playlist has been removed from matchmaking. The Ranked 1v1 Showdown rotational playlist remains available until its previously announced end date of May 6th. Ranked 1v1 Showdown will continue to be included in the Ranked rotational playlist schedule in the future.
• The map and mode weighting for Castle Wars in the Squad Battle staple playlist has been adjusted based on player telemetry.
