Moscow literally published their draft treaties in December 2021, demanding NATO (😂) roll back to the 1997 borders. That includes Slovakia. They didn't ask for a buffer; they demanded a veto over Bratislava's sovereignty.

Russia didn’t roll into Ukraine because of some imaginary NATO base in Kharkiv. They did it because Kyiv dared to pick an EU trade deal over Putin’s sad little Eurasian club. This isn’t about security; it’s about a Kremlin nihilist throwing a fit over lost imperial lunch money.

The suggestion that Ukraine should accept any limitations on its armed forces as part of a peace deal is a dangerous absurdity that must remain completely non-negotiable.

Allowing an unprovoked aggressor to dictate the size and capabilities of the nation it invaded would guarantee future catastrophe.

Despite continuous rumors regarding Russian demands to demilitarize or restrict Ukraine's military, Moscow has never shown genuine sincerity about ending its failed invasion. It is a fundamental inversion of justice for the perpetrator of a brutal war of aggression to issue demands. If any military forces require strict limitations and external monitoring to ensure regional stability, it is Russia's, not Ukraine's.

Recent history has proven beyond a doubt that Ukraine cannot rely on external promises or pieces of paper for its survival. When the threat is an imperialist neighbor that repeatedly violates international law, the only real guarantee of deterrence is a powerful and unrestricted Ukrainian military. Accepting caps on its own defense forces would strip Ukraine of its primary shield and invite an inevitable new invasion.

Accepting any limitations would also invert reality, making it look as though the victim were the aggressor. That can never happen!

June 10, 2022. SIGNUM Battalion. Callsigns: “Turyst,” “Shvaiher,” “Bahdad.”

The world’s first successful combat use of an FPV drone.

“Fourth house. Blue doors.”

Those words — now part of military history — marked the point of no return.

What followed from that single flight:

→ A entirely new branch of Ukraine’s Armed Forces — the Unmanned Systems Forces — established June 11, 2025, one year ago today
→ Thousands of pieces of Russian equipment destroyed
→ Hundreds of thousands of Russian soldiers killed or wounded
→ Thousands of Ukrainian lives saved — soldiers who never had to cross ground that a drone now covers
→ $40 billion in Russian targets struck in the first year of the Unmanned Systems Forces alone

Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence adviser Serhiy Sternenko @sternenko, who marked the anniversary:

“Thanks to this we have: a separate branch of unmanned systems forces, thousands of burned enemy vehicles, hundreds of thousands of destroyed occupiers, and most importantly — thousands of saved Ukrainian lives. We thank those who dared to be first — and those who continue the fight every day.”

🇺🇦President Zelensky @ZelenskyyUa signed a decree establishing June 11 as the annual Day of the Unmanned Systems Forces of Ukraine @usf_army.

The blue doors of that fourth house became the threshold of a new era in warfare.

The Ukrainians recalled a medieval tactic that proved highly effective in Crimea. Gradually, they used drones to cut off the main land route, destroy sea ferries, and blow up bridges. The result is just like in the Middle Ages- there is neither fuel nor food. I hope that everything will end just as it did in the Middle Ages when a castle was besieged—with surrender.

Після звільнення Херсона росіяни почали жорстокий терор проти цивільних на лівобережній Херсонщині, яка досі в окупації.

Однією з жертв стала 21-річна студентка Аня Єльцова.

У листопаді 2022 року в селі Агаймани ФСБ вдерлися до будинку її бабусі, провели обшук і допити.

Аню викрали на очах у рідних: наділи мішок на голову, заштовхали в машину й забрали.

Вже понад три роки дівчину тримають у неволі в Криму, звинувачуючи у шпигунстві через її проукраїнські погляди.

Рідні знали, що Аня публічно підтримувала ЗСУ в соцмережах та публікувала відео зі звільненого Херсона.

Окупанти розцінили знайдене в її телефоні як підтримку української армії.

Пізніше родичі дізналися, що Аню підставила місцева колаборантка, яка помстилася бабусі за відмову співпрацювати з окупантами.

Після викрадення батьки намагалися знайти доньку в Генічеську, але їх лише ганяли по кабінетах і нічого не казали.

За кілька днів Аня коротко подзвонила, сказала, що її годують і не ображають, але де вона знаходиться не повідомила.

У грудні 2022 року на російському ТБ з'явилося відео, де вона з синцями під очима промовляла вирвані з контексту слова. Рідні вважають, що її примусили до самовикриття.

Перший лист додому прийшов через рік - із кримським штампом.

Аня писала, що батьки приїжджали до Генічеська, коли вона була там, потім її повезли до Мелітополя, а звідти до Криму.

Лише в серпні 2024 року з родичами зв'язався призначений росіянами адвокат: Аню підозрюють у шпигунстві та зраді росії.

Згодом вона зателефонувала сама, сказала, що схудла на 10 кг, у камері холодно а вікно без скла.

У жовтні 2024 року російське ТБ випустило відео, де нібито щойно затриману в Криму дівчину, в якій впізнали Аню, - судять і обирають запобіжний захід на два місяці.

Родичі були обурені і кажуть, що вона в них уже два роки. А в Офісі генпрокурора України заявили, що Аню змусили до самовикриття під тиском.

Її справу розслідують як воєнний злочин - насильницьке зникнення, незаконне утримання та катування.

Наприкінці жовтня 2024 року мамі вдалося потрапити на два побачення з донькою.

Аня сказала, що в цьому СІЗО трохи краще, ніж у попередньому, але морально вона зламана.

13 лютого 2025 року російські ЗМІ повідомили, що Аню Єльцову засудили за "шпигунство" до 10 років.

Сьогодні Аня Єльцова знаходиться в слідчому ізоляторі в окупованому Чонгарі (Херсонська область), - за ґратами, з розбитою психікою та виснаженим тілом. Але вона жива. І це головне.

Її рідні продовжують боротися за її звільнення, а університет, де вона навчалася, звертався до всіх можливих інстанцій .

На жаль, зараз вона залишається серед десятків інших незаконно ув'язнених українців.

Аню, ми чекаємо. Україна пам'ятає про тебе. Повертайся жива.

Today in Kyiv, people gathered to say their last goodbye to Colombian volunteer Jan Sebastian “Onyx” Restrepo Mazo.

He served in Ukraine’s International Legion and later with the 413th Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment "Raid."

Wounded in battle, he returned to the fight and ultimately gave his life for Ukraine — a country that wasn't his by birth, but became his by choice.

He crossed an ocean to defend freedom and paid the ultimate price.

Never tell us this war matters only to Ukrainians.

Honor to the hero.
