@waiternation@McnallieM@keelinfra_ I believe in his interview he mentioned that you have to announce news within 48 hours. So, I don't think the market will drive the announcements. The deals will drive the announcements. Somebody let me know if I misheard that in the interview a month ago.
$NIO This is what I wanted to see for the stock to support a rerating along side the profit and forecast.
Total cash position shows a significant increase of roughly RMB 9.2 billion (~US$1.5 billion) quarter-over-quarter.
@NIOSanFrancisco With all the shares outstanding, I cannot get to the valuation they would need to have. I believe in all the businesses. Chips, Robots, AI, BAAS...just hard to get to. I see 40 or 50
@NIOSanFrancisco I have also held for the last several years and continue to average down. 100 would be past life changing for me with over 100K shares. I honestly want to know what drives your thinking that this gets to $100 per share with the number of shares outstanding.
@EugeneChemaly@dirtygreenpaper Neither does the dollar or euro, they are just paper. Same with gold and silver. People/markets assign a value and market that value. No different tbh
@NIOSwitzerland Nothing is going to happen until they report profitability. Even then it will be a minor move. A re rating won't happen until they demonstrate consistent profit or demonstrate the battery as a service can print profit. Until then....nothing.
@milleni26591534 You cannot compare 2020 to 2025. They diluted the stock by adding 35% more shares. I agree it will go back to the highs of 2020, however that equates to about $45 a share.
Also, it completely depends da on multiple quarters of reported profit and growth.
$HUT did anyone else listen to to Trumps speech in Asia last night. He talked about "These wonderful companies that generate their own power and sell it" it was during the part of the speech talking about semi conductors and AI.
@NIOSanFrancisco I am trying to understand the logic here. Tesla sells over 125K vehicles per month. That number is what drives the valuation. Comparing only China sales for Tesla does not seem like a comparison that holds water for valuation.
@ZSlonevsky @TheValueTrade Profitability re rates the stock and 20 happens in days even from these levels. We won't know this until Q1 26 and there will be signs along the way through monthly delivery numbers that will let analysts estimate just how profitable based on q4 run rate and exit rate expenses.
