Great litter picking session 2day, good 2 see some new members & volunteers from @LitterFreeLeeds About 20 volunteers turned out which is good for a bank holiday.
Cecily & Nisa jointly won the most unusual object competition for a rubber lizard, & a pair of knickers respectively!

A visit to the WY Archives this morning for FoRP volunteers! We were invited for a BTS tour & to see some of the documents we donated. We were also shown the Leeds Charter dating back to 1626. Thanks to Vicky our knowledgeable guide we had a lovely morning. Well worth a visit

Today's working party volunteers had drizzle & wind to deal with aa they cleared the grids out at Ram Beck. They moved on to the Serpentine path, clearing brambles on the way to the top path. A quick stop for tea to enjoy a nice show of crocus and snowdrops. Well done everyone!
22 FoRP litter pickers were out today, and collected 35 bags of litter, plus a mobile phone ( now reunited with the owner - FoRP to the rescue!) and

on new tree planting along Princes Avenue and in Roundhay Park.
Following discussions in June, plans have now been finalised for 61 new standard trees, funded through the Woodland Creation Scheme.
This project has required
