Wow I can already say after just 5 hours using @AnthropicAI Opus 4.7 that this is the first model that "gets" what I'm doing when I'm working. It feels aligned with me in a way no previous model did.

(4.6 actively worked against me. I hated it. So this is *very* exciting!)

@johnennis The area it’s flourishing at for me is when it gets stuck in a long plan, 4.5/4.6 would eventually get worse and start hacking dumb solutions.

4.7 is awesome here for me (day 1 of testing so could be honeymoon phase). Much better with complex ambiguity.

@johnennis @VictorTaelin I've put myself in the loop as it creates plans... "no that is sloppy" ... call it out, give it an example, then it refines with better context. Seems to work better than a better initial prompt. Agree with OP, you just have to rub opus's nose in it.
