BREAKING: Harvard University has announced that tuition will be free for students from families with annual incomes of $200,000 or less starting in the 2025-26 academic year.
@PauloMacro Better models only gets you so far when the data and model parameters only grow in volume and complexity. Optimization is possible but efficiency will hit a wall. Until quantum is ready, NVDA still has the advantage. The growth multiple is too high though. Too much speculation.
@DavidSacks At least as far as I can tell, people don't care what your actual intentions are, they just care if you have any financial incentive at all. They can't handle the possibility that you might profit from the right thing because you happen to have supported it.
@elonmusk Actually, social media consciousness moving the world was predicted in Gatchaman Crowds. It even offers a potential utopian view of its impact on social good and accessible voting. It offers some interesting ideas / suggestions for features. You should watch it.
@themaxburns You could just as easily make the argument that as someone with a vested interest in space technologies he happens to know more about them. I am not sure it accomplishes much to fearmonger without naming specifics. Please share specific outcome-related problems that are known.
@ChibiReviews You can't change your views (or reinforce them by challenging them successfully) if the only people you talk to are people who agree with you. Many are argument-averse so unless you give them good reason, they sometimes won't try to defend their position or will remain dogmatic.
@RedTenRoads@mattgamedevguy I think this is a big part of it but also it depends sometimes how you interact with the various circles that exist here. Sometimes people who seem unsupportive can still be connected with and ultimately be supportive (not always so easy to do though).
I don't know if we're all getting a different version of X or something,
but I've found people on here to be far more supportive than on any other platform.
Thank you for all the continuous encouragement, it fuels my desire to progress, and finish what I started.

@MomPedBlog Realistically the only way this stops being the case is people stop having to compete so hard for what they want to do. I agree with you but much of what I hear is that its one more thing that differentiates you from others.
@jamesperrott1@ChibiReviews He's been tortured by curses, made to feel powerless, declared inhuman, sentenced to death multiple times watched multiple people he cared about distorted until they lost their humanity and died, lost a strong mentor figure, lost much of his family, lost control of his body...
@MomPedBlog Eh, I don't think worrying of the negative scenarios and planning ahead makes you a pessimist. I think having a pessimistic attitude is expecting the worst case scenario as always the most likely outcome. Prob better to not label people as their transient attitudes anyway.
@AutismBookClub Personally I don't mind which term people use for me. I do think that it is really not that much effort to take into account how one person feels about this terminology when talking about it.
