British born with Ulster Scots heritage. I love my family, my dogs and my country. Supporter of Israel and the rights of Jewish people to live there in peace.
@WendtheWalker Iโm not English and donโt care tuppence about football, but I fully endorse the sentiment here. Probably if there was a rerun of this today all the participants would be arrested and charged with hate crimes. Yes, weโve definitely lost something and the country is worse for it!
@MattCas04807118@PogoSkyBlues42 Not insane at all, but rather that he understood and applied the principles of risk assessment in the days before it was mandatory. He knew the possible consequences of getting it wrong and used appropriate control measures backed up with common sense and good training.
@Mattisamazing33 Reminds me of a TV advert in the 60โs for the VW Beetle where the car was driven into a flooded quarry and it floated, though Iโm not sure what that was supposed to prove! Anybody else remember this or is my memory playing tricks? ๐ค
@Skint_Eastwood1@SimonHall184077 Make a formal complaint and insist on receiving a written response. That way it will be recorded and shows up in their monthly stats.
@Mattisamazing33 Yes, I remember those prices too. Halcyon days! Somewhat different now, as we paid ยฃ12.60 for a large haddock & chips in Tobermory earlier todayโฆ..though it was very tasty I must add๐
@Mattisamazing33 Itโs not hard to understand why. The first puppy we got in my childhood was a collie from the glens of Antrim. Our next three were also collies, and my present dog Bonnie is half collie in parentage though ๐ฏ collie in outlook. Beautiful creatures but definitely high octane!
@benonwine There is something called parental responsibility. Let parents be parents instead of everything being regulated. For thousands of years humans have managed to survive remarkably well but in the last 40 years weโve become increasingly supervised by others and not for the best.
@Lunaria_40 Three years ago Bonnie lost an eye due to cancer and for the first week afterwards she would only sleep at night in my arms. Uncomfortable for me and not very restful but peaceful and secure for her. It wasnโt a hard choice to make.
