Thanks to @ForsterSam and Canadian Affairs for taking an interest in the evolving Asia LNG story and what it means for Canada. Pleased to contribute to the this piece alongside @ExnerPirot. The time to get LNG 2 and Ksi Lisims across the FID line is now.
Great to speak with @ExnerPirot , @BingleyBarrett and @JapaninCanada about the potential for Canada's LNG industry to expand in the Asian market.

Sharp insights on a critical issue.
The ongoing conflict in the Middle East is creating an opportunity for Canada’s LNG industry.
As Asian importers like Japan and South Korea seek to bypass global maritime chokepoints, Canada’s direct route to the Pacific offers a significant ''geopolitical premium.''

Very excited to see this piece published by @ForsterSam in @CDNAffairs. A few months ago, I learned about a guy named Josh Cook who was pursuing an audacious and exciting goal: reviving his hockey career at the ripe age of 31, and going pro.
Cook spent some time up in Iqaluit as a police officer. His experience was horrific: domestic abuse, suicides... “We bounced from call to call, and it was a shared constant feeling of being overwhelmed and just trying to make sure nobody died,” he said.
Cook was then released by the RCMP for a PTSD diagnosis, leaving him adrift and searching for answers. He's now feverishly training to earn himself an ECHL tryout.

Canada once deployed thousands of troops to UN peacekeeping missions.
Today, the number is measured in the dozens.
I spoke with Canada's former ambassador to the UN @BobRae48 about the dramatic rise and decline of our peacekeeping role.
From being a key contributor in global peacekeeping missions, Canada now ranks 66th in UN peacekeeping with only 27 personnel deployed.
Former UN Ambassador Bob Rae says: "We’re playing a role... but not so much a role in terms of actually providing troops."
Is our identity as peacekeepers now just a myth?
It was great to speak with @MattPolProf and @MattDube about @avilewis and the state of left-wing politics in Canada.
