Christians, Muslims, traditionalists and Buddhists don't serve same God hence can't pray together. YAHWEH is only true God. Just like it was in Mt. Carmel, you can't mix warship of YAHWEH with that of Baal.
KRA is not playing with Naivas.
You know Naivas. Hii tu moja.
It was a fully family owned supermarket giant.
When the time came to cash out, the owners weighed their options.
If they sold the supermarket from Kenya, they would pay insane taxes.
So they went shopping for low tax countries. And Mauritius presented itself. It was irresistible.
- 0% tax on sale of the company.
In 2015, the family registered a shell company in Mauritius. Called it NIL.
Then transferred all their shares to this company.
So Naivas was now 100% owned by a Mauritian company.
To make it even tighter, they added another layer.
They set up a second shell company. Called it GFI.
And transferred all NIL shares to GFI.
So now:
• GFI owns NIL
• NIL owns Naivas Kenya
Proper entanglement. Achana na hiyo yako.
As all this is happening, they are unaware of one dangerous sentence sitting quietly in Kenyan tax law.
It reads:
• Any company managed and controlled from Kenya is a Kenyan resident company.
Then the family went looking for a buyer.
In 2020:
• They sold 30% of the supermarket for 5.2B
• By selling 30% of NIL shares
So:
- Naivas is still owned by NIL
- But NIL now has a new shareholder
And everything happened in Mauritius quietly.
Nothing has changed hands in Kenya trigger anything.
• Deal is closed. 0 tax.
Bahati mbaya, KRA caught wind that Naivas is gone.
Immediately, KRA embarked on a fault finding mission.
In 2022, KRA discovered that:
- The family has always lived in Kenya. Not Mauritius.
- They managed and controlled every single operation of the shell companies from Kenya
They invoked the one dangerous sentence.
You remember it?
• Any company managed and controlled from Kenya, is a Kenyan resident company.
KRA said:
• These Mauritius shell companies are Kenyan
• They must pay tax in Kenya
Tax demanded: 30% of 5.2B. Plus penalties
• Total Bill: 1.8B
Naivas ran to court.
The court looked at it, and sided with KRA.
Family wakaabiwa walipe tax.
Case closed!
Lesson.
• Structure your offshore company properly.
• Or KRA will structure it for you.
Kenya delayed paying KSh53.56 billion in Treasury bond interest: KSh25.79B due June 16 paid July 15, KSh15.79B due June 9 paid July 15, and KSh11.98B due May 19 settled July 15. When a government starts paying bond investors late, it is no longer a cash flow rumor. It is a fiscal distress signal.
Are we going to default? @StellarSwakei@nderi_j@JimnahMbaru
You are not welcomed to talk to us. We do not want to hear you out. There is nothing of interest to us that can come from your tribal mouth.
Nevertheless it is your right as a Citizen to express yourself freely no matter your dimwitted views.
Thugs in suits.
Has any shipment landed with new price? Answer is a BIG NO. Mikora, Thank you @EPRA_KE for keeping these sharks at bay. You should punish Shell Vivo heavily if they are playing games.
KENYA MUST LOWER VAT ON FUEL AND REDUCE FUEL LEVY:
Fuel prices globally were higher in March of 2022 at around $100 Per Barell, reaching a peak over $116 Per Barell in May of 2022. Higher than the current global oil prices.
Yet, Petro was around Ksh 150 and diesel Ksh 131 at the peak in May. Even without a subsidy, it was still cheaper than now.
Even while global prices halved from a high of $116 Per barrel in 2022 to below $55 Per barrel in December 2025, Kenyans didn’t notice the drastic global price change at the pump.
The reason of high prices in Kenya includes the introduction of an extra 8% VAT in 2023 and an extra KSh 7 fuel levy in 2024. VAT is over Ksh 25 per liter. This is besides other excise taxes and levies.
More interesting is that the government has already taken a loan or collected the Ksh 7 in advance through illegal securitization. This amounts to Ksh 32 billion per year.
For non-oil-producing economies, their markets are price takers of the global prices; they are left with the tool of levies, taxes, or subsidies to deal with fuel prices. Taxes and levies account for around 50% of fuel prices in Kenya, among the highest in the World.
A time has now come for Kenya to remove the Ksh 7 in fuel levy added in 2024 and recede the 8% VAT on fuel.
The banks that participated in the illegal securitization should be made to pay for their greed. They either give a moratorium or laws must be changed.
The government must intervene. Consumers have done their bit by paying additional VAT and fuel levy when prices were coming down; now it is time for the government to reciprocate by removing the 8% additional VAT and Ksh 7 fuel levy. Our economy cannot afford to shoulder all these levies and taxes at this time in consideration of the global dynamics. Kenyans must be shielded. The economy must be supported.
It is unfathomable that fuel is cheaper in Uganda, yet their fuel requirements pass through Kenya. In Tanzania, Petro is below Ksh 155 in Kenyan shillings. Still cheaper in Rwanda.

I have seen Christian Political leaders wish Muslims Eid Mubarak, you will not seen Muslim political leaders wish Christians Happy Resurrection Sunday.
Kerugoya Medical Centre is the kind of facility that makes people lose faith in SHA.
Patients walk in, get pre-qualified under SHA, then are still charged the full amount out of pocket. At the same time, the facility proceeds to claim reimbursement from SHA.
This is not just malpractice. It is exploitation.
Ukora has now been verified on record.
Action will follow. Because beyond policy and systems, there must be something called humanity.
This will stand as a painful example to such hospitals.
What annoys me is that one of the victims who reached out via FB inbox, with evidence, even had to sell a cow to access treatment, yet SHA was paying everything.
Apana, this is wrong.
Dear Riggy G, you’ve been carrying pain from the past for too long, and it’s weighing you down. It’s time to let it go. The past can’t be changed, but your future can still take shape in new ways. Guys, don't be casual with God. Stop praying while laying on your bed. If it's coffee, you sit. If it's prayers, you kneel. Posture is part of prayer. You kneel when proposing to a woman... but you lie on your back when speaking to God. Think about that quietly.
I was behind a certain lady at a @CarrefourKe who was noisily chewing gum. She had applied red lipstick, you would be forgiven to think she had kissed blood. When she was to pay, the Daughter of Nambengele started the cruelling process of moving cash from her bank app, to M-Pesa, before paying. She kept on missing the PIN because of her long nails that looked like claws. Those were the 10 longest minutes I have ever been angry without showing. Since that day, I opted to shop online using the MAF App.
Ruto: "Auditor General is a mad woman, together with his team of auditors"
This in response to a report that 50 billion has been lost in SHA. This coming from a president, who is supposed to spearhead fight againt corruption and mismanagement!
We have managed to uncover Traffic (Minor Offences) Rules and the charges motorists face following the rollout of the new NTSA Instant Fines system.

Aren't we angry enough Kenyans?
Maturing is realizing when you wake up randomly at 3am or 4am you’re supposed to pray. Over your home, over your children. Then sit and listen to what God tells you to do next
