Today we lost a leader, an educator, a father, and an evangelical.

I first met @charliekirk11 at the last CLS that happened in AZ. He was invigorating and determined to help us in our work to build the movement on College campuses.

He set the plan for @tpaction that saved America this past year. We work our tail off because we believe in the work that we do. He sets the pace and we gladly follow.

But most importantly he gave us hope. The one thing this country needs more than anything is the belief that tomorrow can be better than today. I got to ask him “what do we do when the good guys don’t win?”. It is thanks to his words of wisdom that I am able to serve the lord for this wonderful organization.

In the heat of the moment I would say Charlie would want you to have hope for tomorrow. That you are responsible for your future and the path it may take. It is my opinion that he would want us to take a step back and analyze what we need to do to further the movement. I do not believe he would advocate for violence. I believe Charlie would ask us to pray.

If you’re going to do anything I say please Pray. Pray for his wife and kids. For their future. Pray for leadership to guide us through this time. Finally pray for patience as the details are worked out over the coming hours and days.
